How to layer “The Leeann Way”

Posted by on

For some people it can be a struggle to stay warm while still looking effortless day and night. What I love about my Love, Leeann pieces is that I can offer fashion that is easy to layer, allowing you to transform any outfit and be warm at home, driving your car or in a restaurant. No matter where you are, you’ll be comfy wearing Love, Leeann.

Here are some of my go-to tips on how to properly layer “The Leeann Way” to stay cozy and warm all winter long, while looking chic.

1) Get the perfect basics for your everyday lifestyle

They might be commonly known as “basics”, but you have to choose them wisely. Basics set the foundation of layering when done right. These are the pieces that you will be using every day and every night during the winter season, therefore it is important to invest in functional pieces that work with your lifestyle. Some of my favorites are the Glossed Black Lysse Legging, the Michael Lauren Perfect Ribbed Tee, the Seamless Turtleneck Tank, and the Elan Relaxed Jogger. You can pair these pieces with anything!

2) Get some cozy sweaters
You can relax at home in this beautiful Bishop + Young Cowl Neck Slip Dress  and layer it with the Elan Shoulder Sweater  for the perfect combination of comfort and warmth. My sweaters are great transition pieces that you can take from enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning to having cocktails with your girlfriends at night. Pair a basic white tank  with our Lysse Cardigan , throw on a pair of jeans  and you’re ready to go!

3) Top it all off with a great jacket
Your jacket should be the last statement piece. To top off your outfit, select final pieces that go with your personality and can turn some heads as you walk by. Of course, these should be warm enough as well, so make sure to go for warm fabrics like fleece, wool or even faux fur. My favorites this season include the Capote Faux Fur Shrug, the JOA Cargo Coat, the Capote Faux Fur Trimmed Duster, and the Capote Cacoon Mahogany Ponch.
